Women of Talent

The Massachusetts Government Appointments Project (MassGAP 2006) is a bi-partisan collaboration of women’s groups whose purpose is to increase the number of women appointed by the new governor to senior-level cabinet positions, agency heads and selected authorities and commissions in the Commonwealth.
Senior-level positions in state government in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts are still predominantly
occupied by men. There is a continued need
for fair representation of women in these positions
.
